Classical Conditioning Comic-
Classical Conditioning is a method that was developed by Pavlov while he was experimenting in a lab. He first noted that when he brought his dogs food, they produced saliva. Then, he noticed that the dogs would produce saliva even before the food came, if they saw the assistants come in the door or recognized other signs of food.  Pavlov’s great discovery was that the dogs had learned to associate certain things with food. He then changed gears and focused on this realization, which lead to many more discoveries.
Cartoon:
This cartoon represents the experiment with Pavlov’s dogs and how at first Pavlov would ring a bell before producing food for the dogs. The dogs learned to expect food when they heard a bell. But at one point, Pavlov wanted to see if the dogs could revert back to before and stop associating the bell with the food. So, for a while he rang the bell but produced no food. (Eventually the dogs did disassociate the two).
